Sean “Diddy” Combs Celebrates Independence Day Behind Bars

Sean “Diddy” Combs is spending this Fourth of July in detention, far from the usual celebrations involving bottles and fine dining. He is currently held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn after being denied bail following a partial conviction in his sex-trafficking trial.

For his first meal of the day, the inmate is scheduled to eat cereal, fresh fruit, milk, butter, and a breakfast cake, according to a detention center representative.

The jury acquitted him of two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and of racketeering conspiracy. However, he was found guilty on two charges of prostitution, each carrying a maximum sentence of ten years.
