Scheana Shay Opens Up About Her Affair with Eddie Cibrian

In a rare revealing, Scheana Shay discussed her past involvement with actor Eddie Cibrian, who was married to Brandi Glanville at the time. She recounted how their connection began in 2006 when she started working at a private cigar lounge in Beverly Hills.

Describing her initial impression, Shay shared that she was drawn to Cibrian’s tall, dark, and handsome look—an ideal types she admired from her youth. Their eyes met, and his charming smile with dimples caused her to melt. Though their relationship was not initially romantic, the chemistry was evident from the start.

She explained their relationship developed into a physical affair by late 2006, often occurring as a weekly “booty call” after his poker nights. The affair continued despite her not realizing at the time that Cibrian was married, as he reportedly never wore a wedding ring, and their interactions predated social media’s prominence.

The darker turn came when a cigar lounge member told her Cibrian was married. She admitted feeling conflicted due to her feelings for him. Confronting him in the lounge, she asked if he was married, to which he denied it, claiming her suspicions were “insane” and gaslighting her. Despite this, she trusted him enough to keep seeing him in secret.

Later, Cibrian and Glanville’s marriage was publicly known to be ending. Shay revealed she wanted him to be exclusively hers but sensed there was more beneath the surface. Cibrian was still seeing Glanville and their children, Mason and Jake, during their affair, which she described as complicated and emotionally challenging.

Cibrian’s romantic life extended beyond this affair, as he was also involved with singer LeAnn Rimes during his marriage. After divorcing Glanville, he married Rimes in 2011. Shay’s memoir, titled My Good Side, will be released on July 22, offering a detailed look into her personal experiences.
