David Beador Files for Restraining Order Against Estranged Wife Lesley Beador
David Beador has officially requested a restraining order against his estranged wife, Lesley Beador, alleging multiple instances of physical abuse and characterizing her as a “pathological liar.” Court documents reveal that he accuses her of hitting him on several occasions, including a recent incident on June 11, where he claims she gouged his arm, shoved her fingers in his mouth, and slapped him multiple times.
In the legal filings, David states that Lesley also accused him of being gay shortly after the altercation, which he denies. He further claims that Lesley married him primarily for money, stating, “In our case, it’s a fact, she has made that very clear to me.” He recounts a troubled marriage history, including prior divorce petitions, dismissals, and restraining orders.
The court has ordered Lesley to stay at least 100 yards away from David, his residence, and his workplace, except during custody exchanges with their 4-year-old daughter, Anna Love. Lesley must also vacate his Newport Beach home.
In a separate filing, Lesley sought her own temporary restraining order in September 2024, accusing David of verbal abuse and harassment in front of their children, including Anna and her other two children from a previous relationship. She claimed to live in constant fear due to his “meltdowns” and their unpredictable nature.
David responded to her request by alleging that her claims were extortion, stemming from his decision to cancel her credit card, which she used for unlimited spending. The legal battle continues as both sides navigate their disputes amid custody considerations.
