Tottenham Target £85M Star Mohammed Kudus in S:ho:ck Move After 14 Years!

Tottenham Eye £85m-rated Mohammed Kudus in Surprising Transfer Bid—First from West Ham in Over a Decade

Tottenham are considering a move for West Ham star Mohammed Kudus, potentially marking their first transfer from the Hammers in 14 years if successful. Kudus’s current release clause is set at £85 million for Premier League clubs and will be active during the first ten days of July.

The Ghanaian forward is one of West Ham’s most valuable assets, and the club recognizes they may need to sell before making new signings. Tottenham, under new head coach Thomas Frank, has prioritized Kudus this summer, according to sources.

The North London side hopes to negotiate a deal below Kudus’s release clause. However, completing the transfer would require Tottenham to lift their unofficial embargo on transfers involving West Ham.

Since Scott Parker’s move to Spurs in 2011, no player has transferred directly between the two clubs. The last was Parker, and Tottenham’s attempt to acquire Emmanuel Adebayor from West Ham in 2015 was blocked by club chairman Daniel Levy.

Kudus joined West Ham from Ajax for nearly £40 million two summers ago, making an immediate impact with 14 goals in his debut season. Despite a challenging recent campaign, he scored five goals and contributed four assists across 35 appearances.

While Chelsea has shown interest in Kudus, they have already secured deals for Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittins and Brighton’s Joao Pedro, worth £55 million and £60 million respectively.
