Joao Pedro Makes Bold Future Decision After Chelsea’s £58m Bid Rejected Amid Newcastle Interest!

Joao Pedro Decides His Future as Chelsea’s £58m Bid for Brighton Star Is Rejected

Joao Pedro, who is also linked with Newcastle, is inclined to transfer to Chelsea if an agreement on a fee can be reached. Chelsea previously submitted a bid approximately worth £58 million, which Brighton declined, seeking more than £60 million.

Since joining Brighton from Watford in 2023, Pedro has netted 30 goals in 70 appearances for the club. Meanwhile, Chelsea has secured a seven-year contract with Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens after having a previous £42 million offer rejected by Dortmund. Gittens is set to undergo a medical with Chelsea over the weekend.

Gittens, returning to England after nearly five years in Germany, previously played for Dortmund after transferring from Manchester City in September 2020. He has scored 12 goals during 72 Bundesliga appearances over the last three seasons and spent five years in Reading’s youth system.

Although capped at five different youth levels for England, Gittens was unable to participate in this summer’s U21 Euros due to commitments at the Club World Cup. Earlier this summer, Chelsea also signed forward Liam Delap for £30 million from Ipswich Town.
