The evening festivities took place at a historic hall within the Arsenale, a 14th-century water-surrounded complex in the Castello district. The venue’s unique location, inaccessible by land when the connecting bridges are raised, added an extra layer of security for the high-profile guests, which included politicians, business leaders, celebrities, and athletes.

The celebration was hosted at a luxurious setting, initially planned to be held at the medieval Scuola Grande della Misericordia, but it was moved earlier in the week due to safety concerns amid protests criticizing the couple’s use of Venice for their wedding. Before the event, they hosted a lavish welcome party and a foam celebration aboard Bezos’s $500 million yacht, Koru.
