Shocking 911 Call Revealed Before Tech Exec’s Mysterious Fall!
Chicago Executive Found Dead After Fall from Luxury Condo
A 36-year-old Chicago tech executive was discovered dead after falling more than 20 stories from her upscale condo in October. A newly released 911 call reveals Caitlin Tracey desperately pleading for help as her husband allegedly attacked her.
During the call, Tracey, visibly distressed, told dispatchers that her husband, Adam Beckerink, was intoxicated and had previously pushed her. She urgently requested police to “please hurry,” but her speech soon became incoherent due to her emotional state. Responding officers found her with visible injuries, including cuts and red marks, in her former Michigan residence, where she was living before and during her marriage.
Following an argument, Tracey reported that her husband, a prominent Chicago tax attorney who fled back to the city before police arrived, had assaulted her and stolen some items. Court documents indicate Beckerink instructed her to tell officers her 911 call was accidental. He was later arrested and charged with domestic abuse.
In August 2024, police responded to her residence again after hearing yelling and commotion on a call that suddenly dropped. Previously, in November 2023, Tracey had obtained a protective order against Beckerink following multiple domestic battery reports, which she later dropped.
Tracey’s death occurred just days before Beckerink, who had been scheduled for trial in Michigan, was expected to face charges. He was detained and questioned but released without charges shortly afterward.
The medical examiner concluded she died from “multiple injuries” due to a fall from height, but the exact manner of death remains “undetermined.” No charges have been filed in connection with her death.
