Lauren Sánchez officially tied the knot with Jeff Bezos during an opulent wedding on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice. She chose a stunning, lace, long-sleeved Dolce & Gabbana gown featuring a fitted corset, high neckline, and buttons from neck to hem, culminating in a mermaid silhouette.

The bride’s accessories included diamond earrings from Dolce & Gabbana Alta Gioielleria Miracolo, with four diamonds carved from a single stone inlaid in white gold, which she considered her “something borrowed.”

Inspired by timeless glamour, Sánchez’s wedding look drew inspiration from Sophia Loren’s 1958 high-neck lace dress in the film “Houseboat.” She explained that her desire for a gown evoking a classic moment, reflecting her evolving style over the past five years, led her to choose this vintage-inspired look. She envisioned a dress with a prayer-like pose, reminiscent of Loren’s elegance, and found her inspiration in images of 1950s brides.

For the reception, she planed to wear a second gown inspired by Rita Hayworth’s “Gilda,” followed by a third look: a cocktail dress by Oscar de la Renta adorned with 600 yards of hand-sewn chain and 175,000 crystals.
