Premier League Stars’ Must-Have Custom Boots Before New Season—Bryan Mbeumo & Declan Rice Lead the Trend!
Premier League Players Opt for Customised Football Boots Ahead of New Season
Footballers are increasingly showcasing their personalities through bespoke footwear, which has become a new trend ahead of the upcoming season. Iconic boots have historically defined players—Wayne Rooney with Nike T90s, Neymar with Nike Mercurials, and Sergio Aguero with Puma evoSPEED—highlighting how equipment influences personal branding on the pitch.
London-based artist Jordan Dawson is at the forefront of this movement, customizing boots for top players such as Lamine Yamal of Barcelona, Marcus Rashford of Manchester United, and Enzo Fernandez of Chelsea. His designs have included a South Korean-inspired pair for Tottenham’s captain Son Heung-min and a Naruto-themed set for former teammate Dele Alli.
Rashford, among others, has been seen sporting Dawson’s creative designs, reflecting a growing trend among players to express individuality through their footwear. Dawson’s journey began with a hyperrealist portrait of Conor McGregor while studying at Chelsea College of Arts, earning him Young Artist of the Year at the National Open Art Awards. After working at Niketown London and collaborating on campaigns with Nike, he expanded his scope, designing digital artworks for the Nike London Air Force One campaign and for FIFA 20’s Volta mode.
His work now includes limited-edition boots for international stars like Kylian Mbappe, Raphinha, and Gianluigi Donnarumma. Players often contact him via social media, requesting personalized designs. Dawson has also partnered with brands such as Nike, Adidas, and Puma, and is currently in talks with players including Victor Gyokeres, Amad Diallo, and Victor Osimhen for future projects.
Beyond football, Dawson has designed custom cars for Red Bull and basketballs for the NBA, driven by a desire to push creative boundaries and tell a story through his work.
