Second-Round Pick Trades Hit NBA Ripples! Suns’ No. 31 Pick Could Land Rasheer Fleming—Shocking Move!

NBA Draft: Phoenix Suns Acquire Rasheer Fleming in Multiple Trades

Following a series of trades before the second round of the NBA Draft, the Phoenix Suns positioned themselves to select Rasheer Fleming, a versatile 3-and-D wing from Saint Joseph’s, who surprisingly fell into the second round.

The Suns made three trades involving second-round picks. Initially, they exchanged the No. 36 pick to Brooklyn for two future second-round selections, as reported by ESPN’s Shams Charania. Subsequently, Phoenix traded the No. 36 pick along with additional future picks to Minnesota to secure the No. 31 selection. Charania also noted that the Suns’ targeted player is Fleming.

Fleming, 21 years old and standing 6’8″, averaged 14.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game during his last season at Saint Joseph’s.

In another move, the Suns traded the No. 52 and No. 59 picks in the 2025 draft to the Golden State Warriors to acquire the No. 41 pick, completing their sequence of strategic trades.
