Man Accused of Peeping Through Teen’s Window and Harboring Illegal Immigrants

An individual was detained for allegedly spying on a 13-year-old girl through her bedroom window, with four other men found residing with him and also taken into custody for being in the country illegally.

Jose Juarez Vilches, a 38-year-old Mexican national, was observed peering through the girl’s window in Butler County, Ohio, while making inappropriate gestures, according to local authorities. Police state that Vilches had previously contacted the girl online, requesting sexually explicit videos from her.

Law enforcement, with assistance from ICE agents, located Vilches at a residence in Hamilton, Ohio, about 35 miles north of Cincinnati. He was apprehended after a brief chase. During a search of the home, authorities discovered four other men living there, all in the country illegally.

The men include three Mexican nationals—Aaron Andrade-Olivera (45), Ismael De Jesus Sosa Vargas (24), and Jesus Del Carmen Vega-Saldivar (50)—and a Honduran, Beasar Maradiaga Rodriguez (30).

Vilches faces charges of criminal trespass, voyeurism, resisting arrest, and obstructing law enforcement. The five men are incarcerated at Butler County Jail, where they are being held pending ICE detainers.

Law enforcement officials emphasize the importance of border security and immigration enforcement, with Sheriff Richard K. Jones stating, “The time to act is now” in support of stronger policies.
