Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Shocks Tr:um:p with Bold Response: ‘I’m Just a Silly Girl’!

Ocasio-Cortez Responds to President Trump’s Social Media Attack

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), seen as a potential Democratic contender for the 2028 presidential race, humorously described herself as a “silly girl” in a recent response to President Trump’s harsh remarks on social media.

After Trump called her “one of the ‘dumbest’ people in Congress,” Ocasio-Cortez retorted via X (formerly Twitter), urging him not to direct his anger at her but rather to those responsible for actions she condemns, such as the illegal bombing of Iran and the subsequent involvement in war.

The President’s outburst followed Ocasio-Cortez’s call for his impeachment after he ordered strikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities, which she labeled as a violation of constitutional and congressional war powers. Trump responded angrily, criticizing her for her comments and suggesting she should focus on her district in Queens.

Additionally, Trump mocked her, calling her “The Mouse” and insinuating she should take a cognitive test similar to the one he underwent at Walter Reed. Ocasio-Cortez responded by criticizing Trump for failing to keep most of his campaign promises so far.

Amid the ongoing clashes, an attempt by Rep. Al Green (D-Texas) to impeach Trump over the Iran strikes failed in the House, with most Democrats voting to shelve the effort. Ocasio-Cortez voted against discontinuing the impeachment process, which accused Trump of abuse of power through the weekend strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites.

Despite survived impeachment efforts during his first term, Trump has openly dared Democrats to try again, saying, “MAKE MY DAY!”
