Simon Guobadia’s Shocking Confession: He “Absolutely” Regrets Marrying Porsha Williams!

Simon Guobadia Expresses Regret Over Short Marriage with Porsha Williams

Simon Guobadia, the Nigerian businessman and ex-husband of Porsha Williams, has revealed he deeply regrets their brief marriage. In an exclusive interview, he claimed he was targeted for financial motives from the start.

Guobadia, 61, recounted that he tried to contact Williams, 44, and her family after their split, but was met with silence. “I kept asking, ‘Why did you file for divorce?’” he said, describing the situation as feeling like a coup and blindsiding him completely.

He also shared that he sent Williams a pointed message hinting at the financial nature of their relationship, stating, “This was a $5 million rehab project that I took on.” Williams filed for divorce in February 2024 after just 14 months of marriage. She had earlier disclosed hiring an immigration attorney amid complications with Guobadia’s legal status, indicating her concerns about the relationship’s direction.

Guobadia criticized Williams for not sharing her issues before filing and explained that their communication had never included serious discussions about the marriage’s potential end. He was deported to Nigeria earlier this month due to immigration violations, including bank and credit card fraud, and emphasized that the divorce was finalized shortly after his return.

Williams was awarded alimony payments of $40,000 a month for the marriage duration, totaling $560,000, and retained the right to stay in their Atlanta home for up to three years, with specific refinancing conditions if she chooses to own the property fully.

Despite his defenses, Guobadia firmly believes the court ruling will be challenged. “This decision will be appealed—including all the way to the Supreme Court if necessary,” he asserted, accusing Williams of setting a narrative to benefit her case.

He also revealed his stance on their children, stating, “I don’t have a relationship with her daughter,” despite Williams’ previous comments suggesting otherwise. Guobadia mentioned that he received a text from Williams saying their daughter PJ missed him, but he did not respond, as he felt their reconciliation efforts had come too late.

Overall, Guobadia remains convinced that he was manipulated financially and that his ex-wife’s actions were part of a calculated strategy, which he plans to contest legally.
