Kelley Wolf Confirms Detention and Struggles Amid Divorce

Kelley Wolf has publicly addressed her recent experiences, revealing that she was placed on an involuntary hold and detained by Utah police while going through her divorce from Scott Wolf. She shared that she was hospitalized following concerning statements made to her family, which led to her being taken against her will.

In a series of social media updates, Kelley expressed feelings of isolation, including being ghosted by her family, who had gone on vacation without her. She posted a heartfelt message with a photo of her dog, contemplating her situation: “Sorry buddy. 🙁 I can’t get the dog food today. Let’s share this @mcdonalds burger?” She criticized the disparity between her and her family’s vacation while she was under a mental health hold, saying, “It must be nice to go on a vacation instead of an involuntary hold and your rights taken away from you. But hey, I’m feeling pretty great!”

Kelley also accused Scott’s friend, Billy Bush, of dismissing her struggles publicly and humorously asked for help to buy dog food, quipping, “@billybush could you shoot me a Venmo for dog food? Can’t get a hold of the fam!” She contrasted her situation with her ex-husband’s leisure time in Cape Cod, remarking, “They sound like they’re having a great time on their vacation. It must be nice… But I’m feeling pretty great!”

Shared custody and her strained relationship with Scott have added to her distress, with Kelley criticizing Scott’s recent vacation with their children — Jackson, 16; Miller, 12; and Lucy, 11 — amid her hospitalization.

She expressed disappointment over her situation, stating, “Yeah… I thought being married for 21 years meant you had a partner in the storm. Not a ghost. Not silence. Not… this.” Kelley emphasized her resilience, mentioning that she survived her involuntary psychiatric hold and was starting to date again, though she deleted that post later.

She clarified she has no mental health issues or addictions, describing her recent hospitalization as a survival feat. Kelley criticized the weaponization of concern against women, stating, “What happened was legal. But it wasn’t right. And it shouldn’t be so easy to weaponize concern — especially against women.”

Following her incident, Kelley shared that she was “held against [her] will” after making alarming statements to family members, including an Instagram Live clip where she claimed Scott Wolf was abusing her. She also accused a group of former friends of calling the police to discredit her, asserting, “No one showed up. No one lit a candle or asked a question… while sipping cocktails.”

Her ordeal underscores the personal and public challenges she faces during this difficult period of her life.
