Helicopter Crash Near Michigan Lake Causes Disruption

A helicopter unexpectedly crash-landed close to a popular waterfront area in Michigan on Sunday, dispersing dust and debris around a well-known restaurant by Lake St. Clair. The incident occurred as the helicopter attempted to land in an empty lot adjacent to the Cabana Blue restaurant, tipping forward and spinning uncontrollably, as captured in a video.

The helicopter’s tail ascended as its rotors continued spinning, eventually causing it to tilt on its side. The spinning blades flung dirt and debris directly toward the dining area, prompting many patrons to evacuate in panic. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the chaos.

First responders arrived swiftly to the scene, working to secure the area. The crash site revealed the helicopter lying on its side near the restaurant, with witnesses seeing individuals climbing out of the aircraft.
