Dermot Mulroney and Prima Apollinaare End Their 14-Year Marriage

Dermot Mulroney has filed for divorce from Prima Apollinaare, ending their marriage after 14 years. Court documents reveal that Mulroney, 61, initiated the process in Los Angeles, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their separation. The exact date of their split has not been disclosed.

The actor requested that the court approve spousal support but asked for it to be discontinued in favor of Apollinaare, 52. The terms regarding child custody and support for their two daughters, Mabel (17) and Sally (15), are still to be determined.

The couple, who married in 2008, previously celebrated their union following Mulroney’s divorce from his first wife, actress Catherine Keener, with whom he was married from 1990 to 2007. Mulroney has spoken about their quick decision to marry, emphasizing following his heart despite the seeming spontaneity.

Prima Apollinaare has publicly supported her husband’s career, revealing she has seen all of his films except the horror movie Scream VI, which she admits she doesn’t care for due to the genre. She has praised his work, calling his films “excellent.”

The pair share two children and have maintained a bond over the years. They previously collaborated on musical performances, including a duet of “Island in the Stream” on a game show last year, highlighting their ongoing connection as a family unit.
