Actor Dermot Mulroney and singer Prima Apollinaare End Their 14-Year Marriage

Dermot Mulroney has filed for divorce from Prima Apollinaare after nearly a decade and a half of matrimony. The actor submitted documents in Los Angeles stating the marriage was-ending due to “irreconcilable differences” and listed the separation date as “TBD.”

The couple tied the knot in 2008, following Mulroney’s previous marriage to Catherine Keener. Mulroney, 61, requested that spousal support be awarded to him but asked that it be terminated for Apollinaare, 52. The fate of custody and child support arrangements for their children, Mabel (17) and Sally (15), has yet to be decided.

Mulroney and Apollinaare have been publicly supportive of each other over the years. In February 2024, Apollinaare expressed her admiration for her husband’s acting career, sharing she has seen all his movies except for “Scream VI,” citing her disinterest in the genre.

The pair’s history includes a quick marriage following Mulroney’s divorce from his first wife and previous candid remarks about their rapid decision to marry. Mulroney once shared during a 2012 appearance that trusting his heart mattered more than logic, despite the quick pace of their wedding.

Despite the separation, Apollinaare has publicly supported her husband’s work, previously saying she had watched all his films, with the exception of one, and complimenting his acting skills. The couple, who share two children, remains in the public eye as they navigate their separation.
