Shocking! Anti-ICE Activists Aid Migrant Child Rapist’s Escape in Colorado—You Won’t Believe What Happened!

Activists Help Child Rape Suspect Evade ICE Arrest in Colorado

Anti-ICE protestors assisted a fugitive wanted for child rape in fleeing law enforcement during an attempted arrest in Denver, Colorado. Immigration authorities targeted Jose Reyes Leon-Deras, an El Salvador native convicted of child rape in Italy, but the activists alerted him to police presence, allowing him to escape.

Members of the Colorado Rapid Response group shared the location of ICE officers on social media, posting details about their vehicle types and neighborhoods. This information enabled Leon-Deras to avoid capture, prompting ICE to criticize the activists for interfering with their mission to maintain community safety.

During surveillance operations, activists arrived and directly warned Leon-Deras, which forced law enforcement to abandon the arrest effort. ICE emphasized that such actions hinder their ability to enforce immigration laws and protect communities.

The group also posted a photograph of the activists sharing the police details. ICE has urged the public to assist in locating Leon-Deras but cautioned people not to approach him if they see him in the community.

Additionally, in Portland, Oregon, anti-ICE protesters attempted to block an ICE facility by gathering at its entrance, launching fireworks, and shining lasers at police officers, according to Department of Homeland Security officials. The demonstrations involved setting vehicles ablaze, throwing rocks, and obstructing highways, which led to the deployment of thousands of National Guard troops by former President Trump.
