An initial email invitation is set to be sent later this month, with a formal invitation following soon after, signaling Harry’s desire to include his family in this important event.

According to sources, Harry believes that extending this invitation is an act of goodwill, hoping his father and brother will support the event, which celebrates wounded, sick, or injured service personnel and veterans. The timing of the invite is strategic, aiming to avoid conflicts with the busy schedules of the royals three years ahead, as the Games are scheduled to take place from July 10 to July 17, 2027. The latter date coincides with Queen Camilla’s 80th birthday.

It remains uncertain whether King Charles will attend, but there is a possibility he might, especially to show support for the armed forces and to acknowledge Harry’s achievements, according to royal biographer Ingrid Seward. Harry is reportedly hopeful that his gesture will be reciprocated and help bridge the longstanding rift within the family.
