Ex-Clinton Security Official Blows Whistle: Kamala Harris Lacked Courage for I:ra:n Strike!

Ex-National Security Official Criticizes Kamala Harris’s Potential Response to Iran

A former official of the National Security Council during the Clinton era has remarked that Vice President Kamala Harris likely lacks the bravery and resolve required to initiate a military strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities if she were to become commander-in-chief.

Jamie Metzl, who has previously served in various international and governmental roles—including on the United Nations human rights team and the WHO advisory committee—expressed his support for recent actions taken by President Trump. Despite his past criticisms of Trump and his voting record for Harris, Metzl praised the recent military strikes on Iran, calling them bold and necessary for national interests.

He emphasized that although he believes Harris’s election might have been better for democracy, he doubts she would have the courage to undertake such decisive military actions. Metzl highlighted Iran’s longstanding hostility toward the US, with a history of violence, and pointed out that Iran’s quest for nuclear weapons poses an ongoing threat to regional and global security.

Recently, the US launched a significant military strike against Iran’s nuclear sites, including Fordow, Isfahan, and Natanz, employing B-2 stealth bombers and missile systems. While an official damage assessment remains undisclosed, President Trump has claimed “monumental damage” was inflicted on the facilities, which are deeply embedded within mountainous terrain and resistant to conventional attacks.

Many military experts favored the strike, arguing that disabling Iran’s nuclear capability was crucial. The attack involved the use of advanced bunker-buster bombs designed to penetrate fortified structures, underscoring the seriousness of the US response to Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

Harris had previously stated that all options—diplomatic, economic, and military—remained on the table to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons. The recent surge in hostilities follows Israel’s preemptive strikes aimed at weakening Iran’s military and nuclear infrastructure.
