Manchester United Weighs Shock Move for Former Everton Striker Moise Kean amid Saudi Interest

Manchester United is reportedly considering a surprise transfer bid for Moise Kean, the former Everton striker currently playing for Fiorentina. Kean experienced a resurgence last season, scoring 19 goals and providing three assists in Serie A, helping his team secure European qualification.

United’s interest comes as they continue their search for a new striker, following a challenging season that saw Rasmus Hojlund struggle to make an immediate impact since arriving at Old Trafford. Other targets, such as Sporting Lisbon’s Victor Gyokeres—who prefers a move to Arsenal—and Liam Delap, who has opted for Chelsea, have complicated United’s plans.

Kean’s release clause is believed to be around £44.5 million. The Italian forward has attracted attention from clubs in Saudi Arabia, notably Al Qadsiah, but it remains uncertain whether Kean would consider a move to the Middle East, especially if a lucrative offer is on the table.

Kean’s stint in the Premier League initially with Everton was marked by high expectations, but he struggled to adapt and was criticized for his attitude. His time at Everton included limited success, with only four goals in 39 appearances, before loan spells at Paris Saint-Germain and subsequently a permanent transfer to Juventus.
