Meghan McCain Announces Expecting a Baby Boy

Meghan McCain, former co-host of “The View,” revealed she is pregnant with her third child, a boy, expressing her nervousness about the upcoming arrival.

She shared the news during a conversation with Usha Vance, wife of Vice President JD Vance, on her “Citizen McCain” podcast. Meghan explained she hadn’t announced publicly yet and appreciated Usha’s approach to family life.

“You travel with your children, and you’re very open about your family at events. I really love that,” Meghan said. She mentioned she and her husband, Ben Domenech, are already parents to two daughters, Liberty (4) and Clover (2).

Announcing she’s entering her second trimester, Meghan admitted she’s nervous about having a boy and managing three children. “It’s a strange way to share the news, but I’m very nervous,” she added.

Despite her nerves, Meghan expressed gratitude for the support from Usha, noting they had only just met. She also addressed recent discouraging statistics about having three children, seeking advice and sharing her perspective.

Usha responded positively, affirming her love for having three kids and emphasizing that family size is a personal choice.

Usha added that children’s energy levels and developmental timelines can vary greatly, particularly between boys and girls. Meghan highlighted her appreciation for having three children, describing it as “just enough for them all to be a pack.”

Meghan and Ben Domenech, who married in November 2021, are enjoying this new chapter, balancing their family life with their busy public roles.
