Jude Bellingham’s Summer Surgery Date Revealed—Real Madrid Star Breaks Silence on Frustrating Injuries!

Jude Bellingham Set for Shoulder Surgery After Club World Cup

Jude Bellingham has revealed that he will undergo surgery following the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, after dealing with ongoing shoulder issues since 2023. The Real Madrid midfielder expressed frustration with playing while wearing a brace and shared that a surgery date has been scheduled shortly after the tournament.

Real Madrid confirmed last month that Bellingham’s surgery would take place once the tournament in the United States concludes. The 21-year-old has been wearing shoulder strapping during matches for both his club and England, due to a persistent problem that has caused him discomfort for over two years.

“I’m tired of playing with the brace,” Bellingham said after scoring in Madrid’s 3-1 victory over Pachuca in Charlotte, where he also earned the Player of the Match award. “I hope we reach the final, and then I’ll have the surgery a few days afterwards. It’s been a long time coming.”

He added, “The pain isn’t as bad now, but the frustration of players tugging on my shoulder and it getting shifted every time is wearing me down. I’ve had enough of playing with it on.”

Performance and Future Plans

Despite his injury, Bellingham has performed impressively at the tournament, showcasing his talent while dealing with discomfort. He showcased his skills in Madrid’s win and expressed eagerness to have his shoulder fully healed, describing it as a step towards “getting my old body back.”

Looking ahead, Madrid is aiming to advance in the competition; they will qualify for the knockout stage if they beat Red Bull Salzburg in their next game, which is also expected to see the return of Kylian Mbappe following a brief illness.
