Crews worked tirelessly into the night, with some first responders receiving medical treatment after entering the dangerous scene. Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported, although one individual was transported to a hospital.
Witnesses described the scene as harrowing, with scenes of firefighters braving intense heat and smoke. residents in the area were advised to stay away from the lower section of Maple Avenue toward Hillside Avenue due to heavy smoke and ongoing operations.
The cause of the initial explosion is under investigation, with authorities continuing to monitor the scene into Wednesday morning as efforts to contain the fire persist.
