Pastor Neal Prays with Pizza Delivery Driver Suzanna Over Wrong Order
Family’s Compassionate Response to Wrong Pizza Delivery Goes Viral
Over the weekend, a church-going family in Castle Rock, Colorado, demonstrated kindness in a surprising encounter with a pizza delivery driver, which quickly captured widespread admiration online.
Pastor Neal Seiwert and his family had ordered pizza for themselves when the delivery arrived. Suzanna, the driver, realized she had the wrong order with her — mistakenly bringing the family’s order No. 67 while she was supposed to deliver No. 57. She apologized, expressing her mistake.
Responding with heartfelt compassion, Seiwert assured her, “Don’t feel bad. We love you, and Jesus loves you. Have a great night.” The family then gathered outside to pray over Suzanna, placing their hands on her shoulders. The moment of kindness and faith was captured on camera and shared on social media, where it resonated deeply with viewers, gathering over 5 million views and more than half a million likes.
Seiwert has reflected on the experience, emphasizing that compassion can be an opportunity to show God’s love. “I wanted her to feel God’s love, not just our family’s,” he explained. The family later reached out to Suzanna, asking her permission to set up a GoFundMe to support her needs, which quickly surpassed their initial goal of $25,000.
Their act of kindness has touched many, with comments highlighting how the gesture moved people to tears and inspired a renewed sense of love and connection. Seiwert said the overwhelming positive response has been a great encouragement, reinforcing that small acts can have powerful impacts.
He concluded with a prayer for Suzanna’s wellbeing, asking for blessings and guidance in her life. “We love. We point to Jesus,” Seiwert shared, noting that often, the simplest moments present the greatest opportunities to help a hurting world.
