Taylor Swift Joins ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’
Taylor Swift Shares Humorous Tale of Lost Pet Snake During California Wildfires
In a recent interview, Taylor Swift recounted an amusing incident involving Zoë Kravitz, who was visiting her during the California wildfires. Kravitz had a Burmese python named Orpheus, which managed to escape into the singer’s home. The snake found its way into a wall, becoming trapped in a bathroom as Lisa Bonet was washing her face, leading to a frantic rescue effort.
“I received a call from my security team explaining what had happened, and my first question was, ‘What snake?’” Swift recalled on “Late Night with Seth Meyers.” She was initially unaware that Kravitz’s pet was in her house.
The escape ended with Kravitz and Bonet holding onto the slippery snake, which had slithered into a wall, just as an axe-wielding man was chopping into a vintage cupboard in Swift’s house. Swift found the chaos quite humorous, remarking, “This is the chicest thing I’ve ever heard. It looks like a high-fashion ad—if only I’d seen it.”
The python eventually became stuck in a hole in the wall, and Kravitz called Swift three weeks later, after repairs were completed, to confess what had transpired. Kravitz was upset that her rescue had been leaked to the media before she could tell Swift herself, but the singer said she was ultimately understanding.
Despite the wild adventure, Swift opened her Beverly Hills mansion to Kravitz and her mother after their home was damaged by the wildfires. The singer joked that she’d been laughing about the incident for three weeks, knowing that it was a memorable and bizarre part of her life.
The pop star, who recently released her album “The Life of a Showgirl,” has been actively promoting it through various appearances, including a recent interview on a late-night show where she addressed rumors about her career, her engagement, and her activities.
