Alexia Nepola’s Ex-Husband Todd Files $10M Defamation Suit Against Bravo
Todd Nepola Sues Bravo for Defamation
Alexia Nepola’s ex-husband, Todd Nepola, has filed a $10 million lawsuit against Bravo, alleging defamation and false portrayal. The Miami-based real estate investor claims that Bravo and its affiliated companies have repeatedly aired statements suggesting he is “financially irresponsible” or in financial trouble, which he insists are untrue.
According to the lawsuit, Bravo has intentionally broadcast defamatory content about Todd on “The Real Housewives of Miami,” misusing his name and likeness and harming his reputation within the Miami business community. Todd points out specific instances in Seasons 6 and 7, seasons he did not sign on for, despite participating in Seasons 4 and 5 out of support for Alexia, from whom he filed for divorce in April 2024 after two years of marriage.
Though Todd has not appeared in Season 7, much of the storyline focuses on their separation. He accuses cast member Adriana de Moura of repeatedly asserting that he and Alexia were experiencing money problems, claims he denies.
He emphasizes his reputation for financial integrity, stating he has “never bounced a check” or faced any financial hardships, asserting his net worth exceeds $100 million.
Todd alleges that despite explaining these facts to producers, they dismissed his concerns and have continued to manipulate his image for entertainment value. He criticizes Bravo for twisting narratives and prioritizing sensational content over truth, thus causing personal and professional damage.
Todd seeks $10 million in damages, asserting his reputation remains impeccable and that his financial worth surpasses $100 million.
