Harry Kane & Kate Celebrate Oktoberfest as Bayern Munich Lead Bundesliga
Cheers to that! Harry Kane and wife Kate lead Oktoberfest celebrations as Bayern Munich move four points clear at the top of the Bundesliga
Harry Kane and his wife, Kate, participated in Oktoberfest festivities as the German football season continues to heat up. Kane, now in his third season with Bayern Munich, embraced the festive spirit by wearing traditional lederhosen and holding a beer stein.
The England captain was joined by Kate, the mother of their four children, along with teammates Joshua Kimmich and Konrad Laimer, and their wives Lina and Ines-Sarah. Photos captured the players in high spirits, celebrating after Bayern’s impressive recent performances.
In their latest match, Bayern secured a 3-0 victory away at Eintracht Frankfurt, maintaining an unbeaten start to the Bundesliga season. Luis Diaz scored twice, while Kane continued his remarkable scoring streak, netting in the game and becoming the first player this season to score 11 goals in the first six Bundesliga matches.
This achievement follows Kane’s recent record-breaking feat as the fastest player this century to reach 100 goals for a club in Europe’s top five leagues. So far, he has scored 18 goals in 10 matches this season.
Expressing his satisfaction, Kane posted on Instagram: “Another top performance! Signing off for the international break with a good away win and a 100% record.” His efforts have helped Bayern open a four-point lead at the top of the league table, having collected 18 points from their first six matches.
Oktoberfest draws millions annually to Munich, running from mid-September to the first Sunday in October, with a funfair and beer tents on Theresienwiese. Bayern players often participate in the festivities, posing for photos in traditional attire, as Kane did this year.
After celebrating in Munich, Kane’s focus shifts to international duty with England. The Three Lions are set to face Wales in a friendly match on October 9, followed by a World Cup qualifier in Latvia. England has won all five of its qualifying matches and is on track to secure a spot in next summer’s tournament in North America.
