He explained, “I just don’t want to give you a headline about my wife,” and reflected on their shared background, noting, “Coming from the same place was helpful, but being in different fields has been equally beneficial.” Despite praising Kidman as “very” proud of her, Urban dismissed further questions about her during the interview, saying, “I’m not going to talk about her.”

Later, Urban shared that he feels proud of Kidman’s successful career but firmly declined to comment on their personal life again when asked directly, emphasizing, “I’m not going to talk about her.”
