Erling Haaland Shares Personal Details About His Love Life and Wedding Plans

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland recently discussed his relationship with girlfriend Isabel Haugseng Johansen, revealing how their romance began and sharing some fun insights into their life together.

Haaland explained that Johansen took the first step in their relationship. “She sent me a message. She played for the same club as me, Bryne,” he said. “She was the one who checked me out—I wasn’t the one who checked her out.” The couple had known each other since their youth days at Bryne, where Haaland joined at age five and played for over ten years before moving to clubs like RB Salzburg, Dortmund, and Manchester City.

The two started dating during Haaland’s time at Borussia Dortmund, with Johansen frequently visiting him. Recently, she has become more visible during his successful career at City, sharing in trophy celebrations and enjoying moments together, including holidays in Ibiza and attending fashion shows in Rome. In December, they welcomed their first child.

He humorously added, “Or we go back to Bryne and order kebabs,” noting that kebabs are his favorite food and he even joked about serving them at their wedding.
