Royal Family Treks to the Set of the New “Harry Potter” Series

Kate Middleton and Prince William recently treated their three children to an enchanting experience by visiting the set of the upcoming “Harry Potter” television series. The visit occurred on Friday and was described as a “magical” moment for the family.

An on-set insider shared that Middleton brought Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, to meet the young actors and the director involved in the new project. Meanwhile, William spent the weekend visiting his father, King Charles III, in Scotland. The insider remarked, “There was only one night of filming there, so it really was a special ticket.”

“He seemed to absolutely love it,” a source said. The series was announced in 2023 and stars actor Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter.

The series was revealed to have a talented cast, including Dominic McLaughlin portraying Harry Potter, Alastair Stout as Ronald Weasley, and Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger. The first season is currently filming in Europe.

Legend has it that the royal family has long been fans of the Harry Potter universe. Queen Camilla previously revealed that her husband, King Charles III, would read the books aloud to his grandchildren, voicing the characters with great enthusiasm. She said, “He does all the voices, because he is a brilliant mimic. The children loved it, sitting spellbound.”

This visit marks another chapter in the royal family’s ongoing admiration for the wizarding world, echoing their earlier trip to the Warner Bros. Studios in 2013, where all the original movies were filmed. At that time, the couple announced a scholarship program to support students in film and television.
