FBI: Joshua Jahn Planned Fatal Dallas Shooting

Dallas ICE Facility Shooting Suspect Planned Attack in Advance and Sought to Instill Fear

The FBI has revealed new details about Joshua Jahn, the man responsible for opening fire at a Dallas ICE field office. Jahn meticulously planned the attack, even positioning himself on a rooftop with the intent to scare agents, according to investigative findings.

A handwritten note recovered from the scene indicated his aim was to cause “real terror” among ICE personnel, contemplating the possibility of a sniper equipped with armor-piercing rounds targeting agents. Despite his expressed desire to harm immigration officials, his gunfire mainly targeted three detained migrants. One was killed, and two others suffered critical injuries.

Prior to the attack, Jahn searched online for videos titled “Charlie Kirk Shot Video” and also downloaded a document labeled “Dallas County Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management,” which reportedly includes a list of DHS facilities. These actions suggest a high level of pre-attack planning.
