Liverpool Prospect Rio Ngumoha Secures a Significant Salary Increase

The young talent has committed his future to Liverpool until 2028, signing a new contract valued at approximately £52,000 annually. This is a notable rise from his previous scholar’s salary of £14,400, with additional earnings possible through performance bonuses.

Ngumoha was eligible for the contract after turning 17 last month, as regulations restrict clubs to offering three-year deals to players of his age. The versatile forward has made a remarkable impact in his debut season, earning the trust of manager Arne Slot.

He scored the winning goal on his first appearance against Newcastle in August and has subsequently featured three more times, including appearances in the Champions League against Atletico Madrid.
