Stassi Schroeder has publicly expressed her disappointment with Meghan Markle after the Duchess of Sussex did not include her in a recent “As Ever” PR gift box. Schroeder, a star from “Vanderpump Rules,” stated she had previously stood up for Markle online, defending her multiple times and even having her PR team reach out to her.

She shared on her podcast, “Stassi,” that she had gone to great lengths to support Markle, including filming videos and commenting on her behalf. However, Schroeder has now decided to unfollow Markle and declared she will no longer discuss her publicly, citing feelings of hurt and betrayal.

Schroeder criticized Markle’s social media behavior, suggesting she perceives her as stuck in 2017 and disrespects reality TV stars like herself. She accused Markle of paying more attention to critics rather than her supporters, calling her a “control freak” and implying that her actions are manipulative.

Furthermore, Schroeder revealed she felt her admiration for Markle turned into hostility, stating, “My feelings are hurt and I’m a toxic fan … I was a toxic fan that’s now a toxic hater.” She also mentioned that Markle’s decision to send PR boxes to podcast hosts who have questioned her might be an attempt to control her narrative.

Schroeder criticized Markle’s frequent code-switching between supporting and criticizing her fans and critics alike. She accused Markle of prioritizing her image over genuine connection and labeled her a “control freak,” comparing her unfavorably to Blake Lively without elaborating further.

Markle’s past relationships with friends have also faced scrutiny—her close friend Jessica Mulroney was reportedly “distraught” after being dropped from projects amid accusations of insensitivity about white privilege. Other acquaintances, like “Made in Chelsea” alum Millie Mackintosh, have also alleged Markle “cut her dead” when she began dating Prince Harry.

As of now, representatives for Markle and Lively have not responded. Schroeder concluded that her perception of Markle has shifted dramatically, vowing to stay no longer silent and to disengage from her publicly.
