Charlie Sheen Shares Weight-Loss Surgery Experience and Humorous Encounter

In his new memoir, The Book of Sheen, actor Charlie Sheen revealed that he underwent liposuction after a provocative comment from a sex worker. Sheen recounted a night in Toronto while filming the 2000 movie Rated X alongside his brother, Emilio Estevez. The film portrayed the pioneering Mitchell Brothers in the adult film industry.

Sheen explained that on his final night in the city, seeking closure from his abstinence streak, he ordered a brunette to his hotel. While relaxing with her, she recalled, the woman suddenly slapped his belly and asked, “Whattya say, Fatso — you up for round two?” This comment devastated him, making him feel so low that he considered drastic measures. Despite the insult, he tried to maintain composure and later visited a doctor for liposuction.

He admitted that he was recently sober at the time and had gained weight as a result, citing the common pattern of weight gain after quitting stimulants. Sheen expressed a laid-back attitude about his changing appearance, stating, “I’d rather be a bit soft and alive than crack-skinny and dead.”

He also shared that the comment about his weight deeply affected him, even though it didn’t stop him from humorously attempting to continue his encounter. About a week after returning to Los Angeles, he went to see a liposuction specialist to address his weight changes.
