Yungblud Rocks Ozzy Osbourne’s Necklace at 2025 VMAs Red Carpet
Yungblud Honors Ozzy Osbourne on the Red Carpet
The musician known as Yungblud made a striking statement at the 2025 VMAs by going shirtless, pairing a leather jacket with low-rise leather pants. His look was accentuated by meaningful jewelry, notably a gold cross necklace given to him by the late Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne.
Yungblud previously shared a heartfelt tribute to Ozzy after his passing at age 76 in July, recalling their close bond. In 2022, Osbourne gifted him the cross necklace during a music video shoot for Yungblud’s track “The Funeral.” The tribute was reciprocated when Yungblud returned the gesture at Osbourne’s final concert in July, presenting him with a personalized cross necklace.
Yungblud expressed deep respect for Ozzy, sharing that he plans to perform Black Sabbath’s “Changes” at every show for the rest of his life, as a tribute to the legendary rocker.
Scheduled to perform at New York’s USB Arena later that night, Yungblud—whose real name is Dominic Harrison—will honor Ozzy alongside Nuno Bettencourt, Steven Tyler, and Joe Perry from Aerosmith with a tribute performance. When asked about the upcoming performance, he described it as “good ‘ol rock and roll in the name of the king.”
