Jessica Simpson Returns to the VMAs with a Stunning Appearance

Jessica Simpson made a glamorous comeback on the red carpet at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards held in New York. She showcased a daring black Christian Siriano gown with cut-outs and a corseted silhouette from his Resort 2025 collection, valued at $7,900.

Her look was completed with striking drop earrings and her signature blond waves styled in a tousled ponytail. This appearance marked her first VMAs appearance in 19 years, since 2006, and she captivated the crowd with her elegant ensemble.

Simpson’s return to the stage earlier this May included a performance of four songs from her new album, Nashville Canyon, on “American Idol” — her first live performance in 15 years.

This summer, she has been spotted in various stylish outfits, including a leather bodysuit for album promotions and a glittering see-through dress at her birthday celebration at Chateau Marmont.

Joining her at the event, her sister Ashlee Simpson made her first appearance in 17 years, wearing a sleek sequined gown. The ceremony also hosted a lineup of celebrity presenters, including Brittany Snow, Ciara, Drew Barrymore, Ice Spice, Latto, Paris Hilton, Nikki Glazer, and others.
