Travis Kelce is believed to be seething with anger at Donald Trump following the U.S. President’s unexpected jab at Taylor Swift, where he bizarrely claimed on Truth Social that the pop icon was “no longer hot.”

Trump posted on the platform: “Has anyone noticed that, since I said ‘I hate Taylor Swift,’ she’s no longer ‘HOT’?” Seemingly suggesting his influence was the reason for Swift’s absence from the spotlight, rather than her own choice to maintain a low profile recently alongside Kelce.

Upon hearing about Trump’s remarks, Kelce – who has barely been seen in public with Swift in recent weeks – was described as “seething,” according to the Daily Mail. This marks another instance of Trump targeting Swift after previous comments made just weeks earlier.

A source allegedly close to Kelce informed the publication: “Travis is livid that the President of the United States is talking negatively about Taylor.

“He is so mad that he is going to use it as motivation during training for the season ahead, especially if Trump continues talking.

“Since Travis can’t say anything publicly because that would just open another can of worms, he has to figure out ways to get it out of his system because he would love to protect Taylor and stick up for her. But keeping quiet is the move he has to do right now.”

Trump’s latest dig at Swift follows a series of posts targeting her since she threw her support behind Kamala Harris for the 2024 Presidential election.

Swift has lauded Harris as a figure who “fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.”

In the NFL world, Kelce’s alleged declaration that he’ll “use this as motivation” sounds like a heads-up to the league, implying that his expected final season in the game will be memorable.

The famed tight end had the worst stats of his career in 2024, struggling as Mahomes’ preferred target and failing to leave his mark on the Super Bowl, fueling retirement rumors.

Defying the whispers, Kelce is set to suit up once more for the 2025 season.

He said: “I think the biggest thing is that I ——- love playing the game of football. I love playing. I still feel like I can play it at a high level and possibly at a higher level than I did last year. I don’t think it was my best outing.

“I think I let my guys down in a lot more moments than I helped them, especially if you look at my track record and how I’ve been in years past. I want to give it a good run. I got a bad taste in my mouth in how I ended last year, and how well I was playing, and how accountable I was to the people around me.”

With renewed drive, Kelce seems more motivated than ever for a comeback in 2025.
