Minneapolis Shooter Robin Westman’s Furry Girlfriend Identified

Motive Behind Minneapolis School Shooting Uncovered

A recent investigation has revealed details about the individual responsible for the tragic shooting at a Catholic school in Minneapolis. The shooter, Robin Westman, 23, who killed two children and wounded 18 others before taking his own life, had recently ended a long-term relationship.

Westman’s ex-girlfriend has been identified as Abigail Bodick, 22, known for her social media posts where she appeared dressed in cosplay, including wearing cat ears at an anime convention. Evidence shows that Westman repeatedly referred to her as a “catalyst” for his disturbed behavior and the “root of my suffering” in documents linked to the attack.

In his writings, Westman expressed fascination with “furries,” a community of people who enjoy dressing as anthropomorphic animals. He wrote about feeling insecure about his appearance, stating, “I hate my face… maybe that’s why I like furries so much. You can give yourself a new body and face.”

Photos from social media depict a happier time in their relationship, showing them participating in activities together such as attending a craft event, visiting an aquarium, and dressing up for a Renaissance fair. It’s unclear exactly when they split; however, Westman’s father told investigators that his son had recently ended a significant romantic relationship.

Westman’s disturbing journal entries contain hostile remarks about his ex and reveal his deteriorating mental state. He expressed regret about their relationship and used derogatory language, indicating deep-seated resentment.

The attack itself occurred during the first week of classes at the school, where Westman fired 116 rounds through stained glass windows as children celebrated Mass. Two students, Fletcher Merkel, 8, and Harper Moyski, 10, were killed in the assault.

The investigation continues as authorities seek to understand the motive behind this tragic act of violence.
