Nancy Mace Calls for Prince Andrew’s Cuffs After Epstein Victims Meeting
Calls for Prosecution of Prince Andrew Following Meeting with Epstein Survivors
Representative Nancy Mace has publicly advocated for Prince Andrew to be detained in handcuffs, emphasizing the importance of justice. Her statement came shortly after she exited a confidential House Oversight Committee session where victims of Jeffrey Epstein shared their traumatic experiences.
On social media, Mace suggested that it was the appropriate moment to consider prosecuting Prince Andrew for any crimes committed on U.S. soil, stating, “A cold dark cell. Prince Andrew in handcuffs. Sends the right message.”
Prince Andrew has faced longstanding allegations of sexual misconduct involving Virginia Roberts Giuffre, one of Epstein’s most prominent accusers. Giuffre claimed that Andrew assaulted her when she was 17. The royal denied the accusations, though he settled a civil lawsuit with Giuffre in 2022 for an undisclosed amount.
Following her advocacy, Mace wrote on social media, “Seems like the right next step (after we release the files). Perhaps we can focus on prosecuting predators next. Let victims, survivors, and the country heal.” Tragically, Giuffre died by suicide in April at her home in Australia.
Mace has been an outspoken supporter of revealing the “Epstein files,” despite opposition from some officials, including former President Trump, who dismissed the issue as a hoax.
Meanwhile, images show Prince Andrew with Epstein in Central Park in 2011, highlighting their association. Mace, who has openly shared her own experience as a sexual assault survivor, reflected on her emotional reaction during the meeting with Epstein victims, describing a panic attack caused by listening to their stories and expressing empathy for victims fighting for justice.
