Model’s Sisters Stage Intervention Over Concerning Weight Loss Drug Use
Brooks Nader’s sisters intervened regarding her excessive use of weight loss medication after she experienced health issues.
In the seventh episode of their new reality show, “Love Thy Nader”, her sisters—Sarah Jane, Grace Ann, and Mary Holland Nader—discussed her use of GLP-1 drugs following an incident where she nearly fainted during a workout.
Brooks, 28, revealed she has been microdosing GLP-1, a weight-loss drug, but recently increased her dosage to prepare for a photo shoot where she plans to be half-naked, aiming to look “extra snatched.”
Following a workout class, her sisters found her nearly unconscious in the bathtub. Grace Ann, 25, shared in a confessional that Brooks hadn’t eaten the night before or that day, raising concerns about her health and the pressures of the modeling industry.
The following day, her sisters discovered a significant stash of needles and medication bottles. Mary Holland highlighted the alarming discovery, noting the multiple pharmacies and doctors involved.
Brooks, initially defensive during the intervention when a psychologist arrived, explained that industry standards and gig requirements push her to maintain a certain appearance, including measuring her hips for prospective fashion jobs in Paris and Milan.
Brooks reflected on her relationship with food and weight, acknowledging that industry pressures may have fostered some unhealthy habits but denying she has an eating disorder. She expressed understanding toward her sisters’ concerns, emphasizing they come from love.
Season 1 of “Love Thy Nader” is currently available on streaming platforms.
