Amanda Seyfried Wears Same Outfit as Julia Roberts at Venice Film Festival

At the Venice Film Festival, actress Amanda Seyfried appeared in an outfit remarkably similar to one worn just two days earlier by Julia Roberts. During her photo call for her upcoming film The Testament of Ann Lee, Seyfried showcased a look that closely resembled Roberts’ debut of Dario Vitale’s first designs for Versace, which included a navy tailored jacket, striped shirt, and straight-leg jeans with a gold belt.

Julia Roberts, 57, had previously worn the same ensemble at her own press event. The look, designed by emerging artistic director Dario Vitale, marked his first collection for the house. Roberts complemented her outfit with woven leather Versace pumps, while Seyfried cheered the look with strappy sandals, both sharing stylist Elizabeth Stewart.

Seyfried was quick to express her admiration, commenting on Stewart’s Instagram post of Roberts’ look, asking to wear the same outfit.

Elizabeth Stewart, who styles both actresses, joked about sharing clothing, with Stewart captioning a social media post: “Sharing is caring!” Stewart is known for sustainable styling, often reusing looks—famous client Cate Blanchett, for example, frequently re-wears her red carpet outfits.

Stewart’s client Cate Blanchett also embraces re-wearing outfits, as she did recently at the Venice premiere of “La Grazia”.

The key distinction in styling was the footwear choice: Roberts opted for leather heels, while Seyfried chose sandals. The scene underscores the growing trend of sustainable fashion and shared stylist relationships on the red carpet.
