Cole Hauser Shares Fan Encounters and His Bourbon Brand

Actor Cole Hauser, best known for his role as Rip Wheeler on “Yellowstone,” recently recounted some unusual interactions with overenthusiastic fans. During a bourbon tasting in Arlington, Texas, he revealed that some older women had grabbed his backside, describing the experience as “a little strange” but mostly respectful. He noted, “When the older ladies get a few drinks in them, they get a little aggressive.”

Despite these encounters, Hauser emphasized that most fans are respectful. He is currently filming the “Yellowstone” spinoff in North Texas, which will star Kelly Reilly’s character Beth Dutton and features Oscar-nominated actress Annette Bening.

Hauser shared that his on-screen chemistry with Reilly has deeply affected him, describing their relationship as one of loyalty, honor, and friendship: “The love they have for each other on screen — I have that with Kelly, as well.”

Beyond acting, Hauser has launched a bourbon brand, Lazy K Bar, which recently expanded from Montana to Texas. He explained that the brand’s authenticity stems from his family’s history with the product. Unlike many celebrity-backed liquors that lack a genuine background, Hauser’s bourbon is crafted with care, involving extensive collaboration with a bourbon maker to perfect the flavor.

He praises his relationship with co-star Kelly Reilly, calling her an “amazing woman” and highlighting the creative freedom they share. Regarding his bourbon, Hauser states: “I spent a lot of time finessing the juice, making sure it meets my standards, which sets it apart from other celebrity brands.” His dedication to quality reflects his desire to bring authenticity to his venture, making it more than just a celebrity endorsement.
