Florida Home’s Doorbell Camera Sees Gunmen Open Fire in Broad Daylight

Daytime Shooting at Florida Home Caught on Camera

Surveillance footage captured a bold shooting incident this week in Plantation, Florida. Four individuals arrived in a stolen vehicle and opened fire on a residence during daylight hours, then sped away immediately afterwards.

The shooting occurred around noon on Wednesday at a rental home when a blue/gray Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 Coupe parked at the curb. Four suspects exited the vehicle—reported stolen from Miami Gardens—and began firing shots at the house.

Authorities are actively searching for the suspects. The residents of the home, also from Miami Gardens, have not cooperated with police, leaving the motive behind the shooting unclear. The incident is believed to be connected to another shooting that took place approximately 45 minutes later near Interstate 95 in Miami-Dade.
