Brandon Herrera Breaks Silence Over Minnesota Shooter’s Disturbing Video
Texas Republican Candidate Condemns Mass Shooting, Distances from Allegations
A congressional hopeful in Texas has publicly denounced a deadly attack that occurred at a Catholic school, describing it as a “hateful and senseless act.” The individual in question was mentioned in a YouTube video linked to the shooter.
The shooter, identified as Robin Westman, carried out the attack at Annunciation Catholic School, resulting in the deaths of two children aged 8 and 10, with 17 others injured. Westman, who previously changed his name from his grandfather’s, shot during a welcome Mass and then turned the weapon on himself. Authorities believe he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the scene.
Westman’s online presence included videos with disturbing content, such as notebook pages filled with bullets, weapons, and antisemitic messages. Before the assault, he posted a video praising a well-known Second Amendment advocate, although the advocate stated he had no recollection of the individual and was not present at a firearms expo in recent years.
In the video manifesto posted before the shooting, Westman expressed admiration for the Second Amendment supporter and even suggested voting for him for president, referencing a conversation at a firearm trade show. He had also planned the attack days in advance, detailing intentions to create a “devastating tragedy” at the school where his mother once worked.
Law enforcement confirmed that Westman was not registered at the firearm expo in previous years. The suspect’s journal entries revealed a disturbing premeditation, including plans to attack large groups of children and commit multiple murders.
The associate of the shooter’s online community expressed horror over the incident, stating they do not remember Westman and are cooperating with law enforcement to support victims. The tragic event has prompted widespread condemnation and offers of aid to the affected families.
