Heather Locklear & Michael J. Fox Reunite After 25 Years from ‘Spin City’
Actresses Reunite in Heartwarming “Spin City” Moment
Heather Locklear recently shared a nostalgic reunion with Michael J. Fox at a fan event in Toronto. The two stars, who worked together nearly 25 years ago on the ABC sitcom, posed happily together, with Locklear leaning into Fox’s embrace and smiling broadly. She captioned the photo, “With one of my all-time favorites,” expressing her admiration for her former co-star.
The duo starred on “Spin City,” with Locklear joining in her role as Caitlin Moore, a campaign manager. Fox, who played deputy mayor Mike Flaherty, left the show after the fourth season due to his Parkinson’s diagnosis, which was publicly revealed during the series. Fox was later replaced by Charlie Sheen, who portrayed Charlie Crawford. The series ended in 2002 after six seasons.
Locklear reflected on the differences working with both actors during a panel at a ’90s convention last year, praising their brilliance and noting their contrasting acting styles—Fox being quick-talking and Sheen more laid-back. She explained her own adaptation process, saying, “The timing [difference] between Michael and Charlie I had to get used to. Michael is a fast guy, Charlie is mmmhmmm.”
Fans chimed in enthusiastically on social media, praising the actors’ chemistry and humor in their roles. Comments ranged from “Loved the two of you in Spin City, so funny!” to “Two legends!!!” with many hearts and emojis showing admiration.
The actors’ reunion reminded fans of their memorable on-screen dynamic, with Locklear also noting that she had to adjust her timing to match her co-stars’ unique styles—an experience that she cherished as part of her time on the beloved show.
