Chelsea footballer Cole Palmer attended the Notting Hill Carnival incognito, wearing a detailed disguise that included a full face mask, a rastacap, and dreadlocks. The 23-year-old aimed to celebrate Caribbean culture and embrace his heritage following a trip to his grandfather’s homeland, St Kitts, this summer.

The carnival, Europe’s largest street festival, showcases Caribbean traditions, and Palmer shared a video and photo of his outfit on social media to participate anonymously. His choice of disguise allowed him to enjoy the event without attracting much attention.

Palmer’s family connections to the Caribbean add significance to his participation. His grandfather was born on the island of St Kitts, and Palmer recently visited there, sharing moments of jet skiing and meeting with local officials, including the prime minister, who gifted him a national team jersey.

The footballer previously made headlines in April after being photographed jogging past Stamford Bridge in casual attire, with fans recognizing him and recording the moment despite his low profile. This time, his message posted from Notting Hill simply read, “Blendinggg,” emphasizing his desire for a low-key experience.
