Tommy Fleetwood Secures First PGA Tour Win and $10 Million Prize

Professional golfer Tommy Fleetwood celebrated a major milestone by winning his first PGA Tour title and the lucrative FedEx Cup, earning $10 million. The victory took place at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia, where Fleetwood was overwhelmed with support from friends and colleagues on the green.

However, Fleetwood’s wife, Clare, was noticeably absent from the celebrations. He was seen embracing friends after the win, with photos capturing his joy on the green. Clare, who is also mother to Fleetwood’s seven-year-old son Frankie, from a previous relationship, rarely appears publicly with him but has shared insights into their relationship.

Fleetwood, who has played in the PGA Tour 164 times since turning professional in 2010, has a notable 23-year age gap with Clare. The couple met in 2015 through Fleetwood’s brother, who worked with Clare in sports management. They married three months after welcoming their son in September 2017.

In a rare interview in 2023, Clare shared that she initially dismissed Fleetwood’s interest, feeling self-conscious about their age difference. Despite occasional comments, she stated their age gap has never been a significant issue for them. Fleetwood joked about Clare’s youthful appearance, attributing it to good genes and sun exposure, while he admits to looking older.

Fleetwood expressed pride in his achievements and ongoing journey, emphasizing the emotional impact of fan support. His wife’s insights also reveal a complex yet resilient relationship, highlighting their deep connection despite the age gap and public scrutiny.
