Maren Morris Calls Out Fan for Butt Grab at Meet-and-Greet
Maren Morris Accuses Fan of Inappropriate Contact During Meet-and-Greet
Country singer Maren Morris revealed that a fan in Michigan inappropriately touched her during a meet-and-greet session before her concert. She shared her experience on her Instagram Stories, explaining that someone “grabbed” her butt while she was greeting fans.
Despite the incident, Morris stated she would continue hosting meet-and-greets, emphasizing her desire to connect with fans through hugs and conversations. However, she urged followers to respect personal boundaries, adding, “please don’t override someone’s personal space.”
Morris, 35, also posted behind-the-scenes footage showing her engaging with fans before the show, looking cheerful while signing autographs. She later uploaded photos from her performance, including images of herself in a black feathered dress. The singer remarked on her Instagram that her recent concert was held at a beautiful venue, with a stunning sunset and a sold-out show, and expressed excitement to return.
Her album, also titled “Dreamsicle,” was released earlier that month, coinciding with her tour kickoff. Morris expressed gratitude for the support, noting the sold-out show and promising to return to the venue.
In an interview with The Cut, Morris shared that the album reflects her journey through grief, anger, and vulnerability following her separation from Hurd after five years of marriage. She emphasized that her music captures her emotional process rather than details of the relationship itself. Morris also noted that she and Hurd remain on amicable terms and have moved past much of their recent challenges.
