Prince William & Kate Middleton Head to Church Before New Home Launch
Royal Family Heads to Church in Scotland Amid Move Preparations
The Wales family’s faith remains a cornerstone as they prepare for a significant change in their living arrangements. On Sunday, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—were seen attending a church service at Crathie Kirk in Scotland.
The family was photographed departing Balmoral, their summer retreat, traveling in their car. Middleton dressed in a maroon top paired with a matching plaid jacket and a black hat, which complimented her light honey-colored hair that she first showcased in April of this year.
Prince William appeared focused and serious while behind the wheel of a Range Rover, dressed in a classic white shirt, blue tie, and a black coat. His children, seated calmly behind him, looked well-behaved during the trip. The family’s outing was also attended by King Charles III, Queen Camilla, and Princess Anne, each arriving separately.
This weekly tradition occurs as the couple, both 43, plans to relocate later this year. Their current home, Adelaide Cottage, has been their residence since 2022, but they are now set to move into a larger property called Forest Lodge in Windsor Great Park. The estate is undergoing renovations paid privately, without public funds.
The move has sparked controversy, with reports indicating that nearby families are being displaced to make room for the royal residence. A source noted that the Wales family is seeking a fresh start after dealing with personal challenges, including Middleton’s recent cancer treatment.
The upcoming relocation marks a new chapter for the family as they continue their traditions and personal milestones.
